The restoration

The first week of November, 1999 was kick-off time. As winter came creeping in, the Eldorado was delivered at Rudi Kerschbaumer’s garage in Wels, Austria. In the following 9 months countless hours of work were put into the car. Once completely disassembled, the Eldo still proved being in good, practically rust-free condition. Even though this seemed to turn out an "easy" restoration, lots of details took much more time than estimated.
"I can’t do it any other than the best possible way. Every time I run across something that needs to be taken care of, I do just so. Even things you would not see from outside... I just can’t leave anything below best possible results", Rudi Kerschbaumer confessed being a perfectionist.
This "Best of" picture collection gives you an impression about what happened until August, 2000. Enjoy!
